26th June is celebrated day as International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the motto to “SPREAD AWARENESS & SAY NO TO DRUGS”
The conclusion of drug addiction is not clear to many people. We fail to understand that it is a chronic disease which is indeed hard to control and not something which we can simply choose to stop any day. It affects the brain in such a way that recovery becomes really tough. It is thus right said that “Prevention is better than cure”. Hence it is always easy and better to control our self from our initial decision to start taking drug rather than trying to recover from a worse state. The more we understand, the safer it is for us and the people we care for.
