INCREDIBLE INDIA (PART - 2)

In the previous part, we have learned about how our country is having a large variety in architectural wonders. lot diversification is present in architectural treasures that has been built over our country for ages of history. Our country is really incredible because we are diversified not only architectural wealth but also in natural beauty. From second highest mountain ranges, Kanchenjunga to the Great Desert of India, in Rajasthan to the large coastline present at south, east and west with the fertile deltas at the east. In this article we are going to talk about this natural beauty that makes our country as one of the most attracted tourist spots. 

Mountains

The world famous Himalayan mountains ranges stretches throughout a distance of 2500 km, having an
average height of 6100 m, from the Indus Valley in the west to Brahmaputra in the east. The Aravalli,
Vindhyas and Satpuras lies in the northern part of Deccan Plateau and the Nilgiri is the meeting point of
the Eastern and Western ghats which is present in he south of India.Following are the famous
mountains of India :
• Kangchenjunga - 8586 m        
• Nandan Devi - 7816 m
• Kamet - 7756 m

Forestry



The forests of India are primarily located in the Himalayan region and some parts in the Indo magnetic
plane. India covers 22.8% of it. It is the main source of timbre. Afforestation helps to increase the level
of oxygen. They provide beautiful landscape and certainly are spots for tourist attraction. They are also
home to many animals and birds.

The famous forest in India are :
• Sundarbans - West bengal
• Gir forest - Gujarat

Deserts



A vast area of India is occupied by the deserts, making different shapes throughout the landscapes, with
a scarcity of water and plants growing there. More than 60% of the deserts are in Rajasthan, Thar being
the largest and is called the Great DESERT of India.
Example of other deserts :
• Kutcher White Salt desert
• Spit Valley cold desert

Water Bodies



India is having the large coastline at all the three sides - east, west and south. There are various attractive coastal destinations from Kanyakumari to Goa beaches or Juhu beaches of Mumbai. Furthermore, these beaches are mostly impportant to establish an waterline connection with the other countries, that eventually increase in trade, tourism and finally revenues are increased.

At the last, we have to accept it that the diversification of India is unique and that the main reason for making India the best diversified country in the world. india being the land of white snow cladded mountains to fertile Sunderbans and from the tiger reserves to grandeur architectural heritage.
